What is the Dog Trainers Network Goal?
To offer the public educated trainers with in-depth knowledge of dog training and behaviour.
What are the eligibility requirements of the program?
– Must be serious and dedicated
– Must be 18 years old or older (under 18 parental permission required)
– Must have or have access to a dog
– Must have or have access to transportation / vehicle
– Must have access to the internet
– Must be able to speak English or French or both
If you meet these requirements then you’ll interview with the Program Director.
What makes DTN different from all others?
We offer much more and in-depth coverage of dog training, behaviour and ethology. Hands on training plus lifetime support.
How long are the classes?
1 1/2 to 2 hours long.
How many students in a class room?
It’s strickly on a one-to-one, personal basis.
What is the schedule like?
We go according to the student’s schedule.
Do I get a certificate at the end?
Yes you do.
What is the cost?
It depends on the courses you take.
What languages are the classes?
Classes are offered in both English and French.
What do I need for the classes?
We supply you with everything you need.
How long does it take to graduate?
Since you go at your pace and schedule, it varies between 6 month to 1 year.
Can I start my own dog training business?
Yes! And we help you get started with marketing solutions.
Will my certificate be recognized anywhere in the world?
Yes.
Can I only do level 2?
You need to pass level 1 to the gain access to level 2. If you have a strong behavioural background, and you can try to attempt the quizzes and assigments without taking the classes so we can test your knowledge.
